Management and Organisation

DMMH is an independent foundation affiliated with the Church of Norway. The foundation's board also serves as the board for the college. DMMH is a relatively small college by Norwegian standards, but it is the only one specialized in preschool teacher education. The rector is the academic and administrative leader of the college.

Affiliation of Board Members

The board consists of 10 voting members appointed by:

  • Bishop of Nidaros (2 representatives)
  • Church Council (2 representatives)
  • Normisjon (1 representative)
  • IKO Church Educational Center (1 representative)
  • Employees at DMMH (2 representatives)
  • Students (2 representatives)

External board members serve for 4 years. Employee representatives are elected for 2 years and student representatives for 1 year.
