Queen Maud University College of Early Childhood Education (QMUC) is a private university college established as an independent foundation within the Norwegian State Church: It is, located in the city of Trondheim, Norway. The college has since 1947 been educating teachers in the field of early childhood education (training preschool teachers).
The main aim of the college is to train pre-school teachers, leading to Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care. Furthermore the aim is to offer postgraduate courses in different topics, up to 1st degree level (BA). In co-operation with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, QMUC offers specialization in Early Childhood Education up to Graduate degree level (MA).
